Between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., the perpetrators managed to improve a bathroom window on the ground floor after several tests had failed on a terrace door and a window. traffic measures in the construction area

on the same street, Konrad-Adenauer-Straße, are currently pending extensive road construction work. These are supposed to equip the street with noise -optimized asphalt and run in several phases. The conversion began on June 22, when the work on the connection streets Potsdamer and Merianstrasse started before they went over to the lanes of Konrad-Adenauer-Straße. The city administration announces that the work has to redirect all vehicle traffic, but the Merianstrasse parking garage remains accessible. Pedestrians must not enter the construction site, and the Rathaus bus stop is not approached during the construction period, as described in Solingen magazine

The construction work depends on the weather and could be interrupted in poor weather conditions, which could possibly also have an impact on the following Monday. After the asphalting work has been completed, new road markings and a traffic light at the Merianstrasse and Kurfürstenstraße intersection are also installed. These measures aim to sustainably improve the traffic situation in this area.
