Burglary on Christmas Eve: Thieves strike in Laupheim!

On Christmas Eve, unknown burglars brazenly broke into an apartment building on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße in Laupheim. Between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., the perpetrators managed to pry open a bathroom window on the ground floor after several attempts at a patio door and window failed. Burglars searched the interior for cash and valuables and escaped with a backpack that had a red triangle on it. Despite the opportunity, they left behind valuable computing equipment such as laptops and tablets. The police in Laupheim have started the investigation and are looking for information about suspicious people or vehicles in the area at the time of the crime Ulm News reported.

Traffic measures in the construction area

Extensive road construction work is currently underway on the same street, Konrad-Adenauer-Straße. These are intended to equip the road with noise-optimized asphalt and will run in several phases. The reconstruction began on June 22nd, when work started on the connecting roads Potsdamer and Merianstrasse before moving onto the lanes of Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse. The city administration announces that the work will have to redirect all vehicle traffic, but the Merianstrasse car park will remain accessible.
