In the early morning hours of March 5, 2025, emergency services from three fire departments in Traun, Linz-Land district, were called to a burning outbuilding behind a residential building. The alarm was raised at 5:30 a.m. and firefighters were quickly on the scene to begin a full-scale firefighting effort. Thanks to their quick response, the fire was quickly contained, although there was a significant amount of smoke. How fireworld.at reported that the “fire was out” was given after about an hour.
However, there was an incident that complicated the situation: one person had to receive medical attention from emergency services. The exact circumstances surrounding the fire are currently unclear, which is why the police have launched an investigation to clarify the cause of the fire.
