An unprecedented incident occurred in the Ferlach district in which a 49-year-old man injured his ex-girlfriend with a knife. How meinkreis.at reported that there was an argument between the man and his 50-year-old ex-partner that night. During the conflict, the man not only threatened the woman with the knife, but also seriously injured her in the chest area before she was able to escape and seek help from the police.
The dangerous argument began shortly after 4:00 a.m. when the suspect first verbally threatened the woman and then physically attacked her. After the attack, the man fled drunk in the woman's car before he was arrested a short time later by the police in Klagenfurt. It also emerged that he had been unlawfully stalking the woman since January. According to a report from local authorities, forgeries were also discovered in his documents, and the Klagenfurt public prosecutor ordered him to be sent to prison. The 50-year-old was taken to the Klagenfurt Clinic, where she was treated for her injuries.
