Punch for a good cause: support single parents in Vienna!

On November 26th, a special campaign takes place in the Museumsquartier of Vienna, which not only delights the palate, but also pursues a good cause. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. everyone is invited to enjoy punch and support the association of feminist single parents, FEM.A. This initiative takes place as part of the "16 days against violence", which run this year from November 25th to December 10th.

This action is intended to raise awareness of the different forms of violence against women and illustrate that such violence is a serious violation of human rights. Every punch sold that evening helps to support FEM.A's work.

what does fem.a stand for?

fem.a is an independent, feminist non-profit organization that specializes in the protection of women from violence. Especially single parents who have come into emergencies will find support here. The net proceeds from the punch sale flows directly into the FEM.A projects, which are committed to ensuring that single mothers receive the help they need to live a safe life.

In addition, the event is accompanied musically by the "Femchor". Under the motto "Multim -vatient against the Patriarchate", this offers a performance in the main courtyard of the museum district. It is an open event that does not require prior registration, so everyone can come and actively participate.

In the run -up to Christmas, there are many ways to support the community and show solidarity. This action is not only an opportunity to refresh yourself, but also a step in the right direction to draw attention to the challenges with which many single women are faced. The number of helping single parents has increased significantly recently, and this event is intended to help to draw more attention to their situation.
