Robbery in Austria: Three men behind Castle and Riegel

In a number of robberies concerned, which affect Austria and Germany, three men were arrested. Among the suspects is a 20-year-old man who, according to the police, is confessed with his actions. The incidents occurred in Haugsdorf, a place in the Hollabrunn district and in Vienna. The youngest arrested is Czech origin and called two other men aged 32 and 38 as complications during the interrogation.

A robbery for a jeweler in Haugsdorf, which took place on September 18, 2023, was particularly sensational. The 20-year-old man entered the business around 5:30 p.m., partly masked, and threatened the jeweler with a silver shotgun. In this robbery, cash and jewelry could be captured. The police found that the perpetrator tried another raid on a money change room in Vienna-Brigittenau on the same day at 7:00 p.m.

transfer and investigation

The following day the 20-year-old was arrested for a jewelry shop in Freiberg, Saxony. Here, too, the shot gun was used, which the police could secure. Due to the severity of the deeds, the perpetrator was already sentenced to several years in Germany. He is currently in the regis-Breitingen correctional facility near Leipzig until it is delivered to Austria.

The two accomplices of the main suspect, who presumably driven both deeds and the escape vehicle, were arrested in the Czech Republic and delivered to Austria. During their survey, however, they refused to testify and were not confessed.

The police emphasized that all three suspects can be assigned to the Adhesic Dust, which indicates criminal records and convictions. It is believed that part of the credited creditable was used to finance drug purchases. Such links between crime and drugs are not unusual and throw a light on the complex backgrounds behind these crimes. Similar information can be found on noe.orf.at .
