Great fire in Andelsbuch: Fire brigade use saves over 50 animals

in Andelsbuch, Vorarlberg, a dramatic event occurred on Monday morning: a farmhouse together with his haystock caught fire. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the fire because the farmer, a milk car driver and the police were able to save over 50 cows, calves and other animals from the stable.

The incident started when the stream of the manure pump suddenly failed around 8:45 a.m. The farmer went outside to look after the problem when there was a loud bang. When he arrived at the front of the house, he already noticed the flames that spread on the facade. He immediately alerted his wife about the developing fire.

The extinguishing work was extremely difficult, especially due to the tin roof with a solar system. Until 5 p.m., a total of 200 firefighters from various towns, including Egg, Andelsbuch, Großdorf, Schwarzenberg, Reuthe, Müselbach and Alberschwende, were busy using the fire. The exact amount of damage and the cause of the fire are not yet known and are currently being examined by the authorities.

These unfortunate events have shaken the community deeply. The residents of Andelsbuch are grateful that no people have been harmed and will stand together in this difficult time to support the farmer and his family.
