Slimming Bath Totes

These incidents occur in a context of increasing risks in and around water. According to a report by rnd.de The number of fatal swimming accidents in Germany rose from 299 in 2021 to 411 in 2024. Reasons for this include underestimating the dangers in the water, such as currents and temperature differences, as well as overestimating one's own swimming abilities.

It becomes particularly dangerous on weekends with high temperatures, like last year, when at least 15 fatal swimming accidents were recorded. Men over 55 years of age and younger bathers, who often show recklessness in risky situations, are particularly often affected. These developments shed light on the need to both strengthen safety precautions and raise awareness of water hazards.
