Gioia Tropiano takes silver at the ASVÖ Art Cycling Cup in Bregenz

As part of the 5th run of the ASVÖ Kunstrad-Cup in Bregenz, the talented Gioia Tropiano from ÖAMTC RC Sparkasse Rätikon Bludenz showed a remarkable performance. The young athlete took a solid second place in the U9 artistic cycling category and has made a name for herself in an impressive way.

Gioia only had to admit defeat to favorite Emilia Bröll from RV Hohenems. This close decision secured Emilia the title in the 2024 ASVÖ Cup ranking. Despite the fierce competition, Gioia attracted attention in her first season with her excellent second place in the overall ranking. She won a medal for the local cycling club, which is a great achievement.

Challenges and farewell

However, despite this success, Gioia had to make a significant decision. Due to a lack of training opportunities in the Oberland, and especially in Bludenz, the young talent is forced to take other paths and leave the club. These circumstances are unfortunate, especially given the difficult conditions under which she was able to achieve her impressive achievements.

The ÖAMTC RC Sparkasse Rätikon Bludenz congratulated Gioia on her successful performance and is keeping its fingers crossed for her for a successful sporting future. Hopefully she can continue to live out her passion for artistic cycling and perhaps win more medals in her new surroundings. For the club members, Gioua's performance is a ray of hope, even if it is painful to say goodbye to a promising talent.
