The contemplative time of the year is just around the corner, and the Perjen district shines festively in Landeck. From November 29 to December 1, the 13th edition of the popular Perjen Advent magic took place in the atmospheric ambience of the former monastery garden. The event attracts numerous visitors year after year and offers a colorful mix of culinary delights, creative offers and entertaining activities.

organized by a dedicated team of 50 to 60 volunteers, the Advent magic is a community performance. Around 3,000 portions hike over the counter. The preparations are enormous: 200 liters of Straubentig, 70 kg of flour, 60 kg sauerkraut, 1,600 sausages and many other ingredients are needed to supply guests with delicious dishes. Particularly noteworthy is the newly introduced vegan and gluten-free pumpkin chickpea curry that enriches the culinary diversity of the market.

But Advent Magic not only offers gastronomic highlights. The event was opened on Friday at 5 p.m. with the "Christkindlpostamt", followed by a lantern catchment of the kindergarten children and musical performances by the city music Landeck-Perjen. The official opening took over Mayor Herbert Mayer, who gave the starting signal for a diverse program, which included a concert by the Perjen elementary school students.

The entire Saturday was all about entertainment. As early as 3 p.m., visitors were able to enjoy various attractions, including a children's program with handicrafts and musical performances. Even on Sunday it was exciting for the little guests: a petting zoo, carriage rides and creative workshops invited to participate. At the stands there was everything from Advent wreaths to kitchen gifts to handmade products made of wood and ceramics.

The Advent spell also pursues a social purpose: the majority of the pure proceeds have been used for people in need for people and social projects for years. This combination of pleasure, fun and social commitment makes the Perjen Advent spell a special event in the run -up to Christmas.
