Fulfill the heart's wishes: Sparkasse starts Christkindlpost in Wörgl

The festive season is getting closer, and the Sparkasse von Kufstein has again started its popular initiative "Christkindlpost - meet heart's wishes", which also includes the city of Wörgl this year. With this charming campaign, people in the region fulfill the wishes of needy people.

whether the splendid Christmas tree or the wish list that awaits the "Christkindln" - the atmosphere is festive and inviting. The project begins in 2023 with an additional desired tree in the Wörgl customer center, in addition to the already established at the Kufstein location. The idea behind the Christkindlpost is to create social cohesion and to offer the needy support. This initiative, which originally emerged from a training project by Sparkasse employees, has established itself as an integral part of the years.

a desired tree for the region

Visitors can pick up a wish list in both branches that meets the wishes of people in need. The citizens are called to get a gift and bring it back until December 17th. The aim is to help people who often only have the most necessary to live. The wish lists organize non -governmental organizations and social institutions that work directly with the needy.

The Evita women and girls' advice centers as well as the social services from Wörgl and Kufstein, youth welfare and light for Wörgl are among the partners of the Sparkasse. This cooperation makes it possible to specifically record needs. The wishes are often about basic things such as food, baby food or hygiene articles that are essential for many people in the region. "It is impressive to see how generous people in Kufstein have been over the years," reports Sonja Erlacher from the Sparkasse and continues: "The highlight is always the day when the gifts arrive - it is always a moving moment."

Brigitte Winkler, the managing director of Evita, adds: "The joy of the people who get gifts is simply priceless." The "Christkindlpost" not only ensures that material wishes are fulfilled, but also brings hope and a positive mood to the hearts of those involved - both the donor and the receiver.

The action is open to everyone who wants to help. The Sparkasse relies on a lively participation of the local population in order to fulfill as many wishes as possible and to show that even small gestures can have great effect. With this initiative, the spirit of Christmas not only becomes noticeable, but also alive.
