In Nove Mesto, Thuringia, Austrian biathlete Lisa Hauser celebrates an impressive comeback in her first competition after the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide. The 31-year-old athlete from Kitzbühel performed flawlessly in the 7.5 kilometer sprint and secured fifth place, 37 seconds behind. This means she surpasses her best result so far this season, after finishing sixth in the individual race in Kontiolahti laola1.at reported. The victory of Norwegian Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, who celebrated her first victory in a year after heart surgery last December, is noteworthy. French biathletes Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and Julia Simon follow closely in second and third place.
