In front of more than 1,000 members and officials of the ÖVP in Graz, the election campaign for the state election on November 24th was launched on Monday evening. This was the prelude by Governor Christopher Drexler's Styria tour, which will lead him through all twelve districts in the coming days. The event took place in a special arena setting at the Graz trade fair, with the seating capacities quickly exhausted and some guests of the event could only follow in the foyer via live broadcast.

The unconventional ambience was reminiscent of a boxing arena with a central stage on which the speakers were positioned in the middle of the spectators.
