Ö3 starts a big pride campaign” – listeners help shape the program!
Hitradio Ö3 is attracting the attention of listeners with its new “Ö3 Pride Campaign”. This innovative campaign, which starts next week, was developed by the advertising agency Obscura and managed by the media agency Mediaplus. It will be visible on various platforms - including cinemas, digital screens, billboards and, for the first time, on trams in Linz and Graz. The main motto of the campaign, “What are you listening to?”, is all about interaction with listeners, who are invited to give their feedback via the website hitradiotest.at to introduce.
With this campaign, Ö3 would like to align the program content more closely with listeners' wishes. For this purpose, surveys are carried out on topics such as music preferences and desired content. As Ö3 station boss Michael Pauser emphasizes, the station is proud of its market leadership and recognizes the importance of listener feedback for targeted programming.
Versatile approach to the target group
Particularly noteworthy is the humorous and emotional presentation of the campaign, which shows how Ö3 brings people in Austria together - regardless of their likes, moods or musical preferences. The different subjects illustrate the unifying role of the station and were deliberately designed with contrasts to emphasize the diversity of Ö3. Christian Gstöttner, Managing Director of Obscura, highlights the Ö3 brand as exciting and market leading.
The advertising campaign is not only present in traditional media, but is also strongly anchored in the digital sector. Accompanying spots to the campaign will be broadcast on social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube in order to achieve even broader public impact. Ö3 thus serves a broad target group that includes people of all ages and regions.
Overall, the “Ö3 Pride Campaign” not only shows Ö3's commitment to strengthening its connection to its listeners, but also the will to further develop the programming through targeted interaction. This initiative is a clear step towards a radio culture that is even more rooted in the needs of listeners.
