Folkshilfe celebrates a musical journey full of emotions with Bunt”!

Nickelsdorf, Österreich - On April 17, 2025, the Quetschn-Pop trio Folkshilfe from Upper Austria published its new album entitled "Bunt". As Krone , this album is a conceptual journey that does not require a set concept. Instead, the songs interlock like gears. The musical influences include 80s pop, squeezing synth pop and folkloric elements that shape the bandage.

The front man Florian Ritt explains in a quote: "Life is like a colorful mosaic". This motto runs through the topics of the album that address community, humanity and emotions. Particularly noteworthy are the important songs: "therapy", an up-tempo song about the search for help and self-love; "Far away", which deals with the dealings with challenges; "Without Di", a tribute to ride -deceased father, the grief and farewell theme; as well as "look at di", which calls for mindfulness.

Folkshilfe has already released two albums, each achieved third place on the domestic charts and made them known for their unforgettable live appearances. The band will also perform at numerous festivals as part of its tour through Austria, including the Nova Rock Festival on June 13th and the Classical Cathedral in Linz on July 18. Further dates include the Acoustic Campfire event in Kindberg on August 2 and concerts in Dornbirn, Vienna, Graz and Innsbruck in October.

The band also invited prominent guest musicians for their live performances. Paul Pizzera will be heard in the song "Owa from the Gas", while Avec is involved in the title "Home/Dahoam". These collaborations underline the creative variety of folk aid and its musical vision.
