Community Christmas: OBI fulfills 34 heartfelt wishes in Salzburg!
In a radiant Christmas act, the OBI markets in Hallein and Bischofshofen fulfilled 34 children's heartfelt wishes at the Ronald McDonald Children's Aid House in Salzburg. How MyDistrict.at reported, the two markets took part in the wishing tree campaign, which took place in a total of 35 OBI branches throughout Austria. This campaign enabled employees to fulfill children's wishes and thus bring great joy to a difficult family environment. On December 12th, the gifts were personally handed over to the children, including a cuddly OBI beaver as an additional gift, which made their faces smile.
The importance of these campaigns is particularly emphasized by Andrea Hofer, the house manager of the Ronald McDonald Children's Aid House in Salzburg. She explained that the organization offers families in crisis situations an important retreat where they can be together, gain strength and experience cohesion. This is crucial because hospitalization often places enormous strain on the entire family. Such campaign donations make a significant difference, says Hofer.
