Austria's ski jumping dominance: an alarm signal for the competition!
Zakopane, Polen - Austria's ski jumping eagle once again put the competition in the shade. The former ski jumper and experienced coach Werner Schuster describes this as an alarming signal for the other nations. In his analysis for Eurosport, Schuster emphasized that the last round of Stefan Kraft in the four -hill tour was not only a competition, but also a lesson. Strength waited a long time for the green light to finally fight third place. The 22-year-old Daniel Tschofenig triumphed and illustrated the dominance of the Austrian team.
Austria's secret of success
Schuster, who was a national coach of the German national team from 2008 to 2019, explained that Austria's success was based on structural improvements and effective team dynamics. "They have fought their way out of a deep valley in recent years. Their commitment to the youngsters is now paying off. At the Junior World Championships, Austria provided four of the last five world champions," said the coach, whose participation in sport was noticeable for decades.
Since retiring as a national coach, Schuster has been working again on the basics of ski jumping. He is not only popular as a TV expert at Eurosport, but also as a trainer at the Stams Schigymnasium, where he is responsible for high-performance training. The next highlight for the Austrian ski jumper is on January 18 and 19 in Zakopane, Poland, and the whole nation expects another Austrian to be at the forefront, as in the entire season in which the red-white-red team showed outstanding performances again.
