Artistic evening in Thalheim: Vernissage Colorful diversity inspires
In Thalheim one can speak of a resounding success: the artists Alexandra Oberhaidinger, Birgit Stammler, Brigitte Meitner and Edith Lachmair opened their joint exhibition “Colorful Diversity” at the weekend. The opening took place in the work area in Ottstorf and attracted a large number of art lovers.
“Just wow,” said Oberhaidinger, full of praise for the large turnout, which made the first event organized by the Silberpark-WerkStätte association for education and life an unforgettable evening. Over 80 visitors did not miss the opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse painting styles of the four talented artists, which was accompanied by the lively evening and live music by Günter Lachmair, Edith Lachmair's husband. Lachmair presented a very special work of art: a guitar that he built for a “playable picture,” which his wife painted with colorful motifs. This unique composition was ceremoniously unveiled at the opening.
Opening hours and future events
The opening was just the start of a series of other events in the work area. Anyone who missed the opening has until December 15th to visit the exhibition during office hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work area plans to be used more frequently in the future for exhibitions, readings and other cultural events, which should enrich cultural life in Thalheim.
This evening not only revitalized the art scene in the region, but also highlighted the commitment of the Silberpark-WerkStätte association, which is committed to education and community. The positive response speaks for the potential of such events and shows how interested the people in Thalheim are in art and culture.
For more information about the artists and their works, interested parties can also visit the association's website. The vernissage and the “Colorful Diversity” exhibition are clear evidence that Thalheim has a lively art scene that should continue to be supported.
