Career shop: Students celebrate success in the apprenticeship ball in Wels

Wels. The second graduation ball recently took place in the Hippmann dance school, which offered the students the opportunity to celebrate their successes. Under the motto "career shop", the graduates from various training directions appeared to appreciate the completion of their apprenticeship and demonstrate their skills.

A special highlight was the presentation of the students of the third grade of the pharmaceutical and commercial assistants (PKA) from the vocational school 3 Wels. They presented innovative approaches to promoting talent and talent in the dual system. At the beginning of the ball, they showed a video that they had created in the so -called talent workshop and that illuminated the different facets of their training and their support.

The midnight contribution was another highlight when the PKA students presented an entertaining buzzer game, which included terms from everyday pharmacy. The participation of the audience was great and ensured a happy atmosphere. In the talent workshop, the students had the opportunity to explore their own interests and talents and to design an individual development process for their talents.

The enthusiasm of the students for their training was clearly noticeable. One student expressed: "Due to the versatility in my job, I first got to know a lot of strengths in me. Our profession is so complex that there are really many ways to discover and develop my talent." It emphasizes the variety of skills that are required in the various areas of responsibility- from sales and consultations to creative shop window designs to logistical challenges in the pharmacy.

Another graduate reported that the teaching experiences at school help her to develop her talents further. "When making magistral preparations, I discovered that I can handle essential oils and herbs very well. This aspect has aroused my interest in the extensive world of herbs and natural remedies and I continue to develop in this area."

The teacher Gerda Pichler-Promberger was proud of the progress of the students: "The joy and enthusiasm of the students make the talent workshop in every course. This motivates us to further expand our offer to promote talents and to implement new measures." The initiative for promoting talents will continue to play a central role in training at BS3 Wels.
