Career journey: Students celebrate successes at the apprenticeship graduation ball in Wels
CATFISH. The second teaching graduation ball recently took place at the Hippmann dance school, which gave the students the opportunity to properly celebrate their successes. Under the motto “Career Journey”, the graduates from various training disciplines appeared to honor the completion of their apprenticeship and demonstrate their skills.
A special highlight was the presentation by the students of the third class of pharmaceutical-commercial assistants (PKA) from the 3 Wels vocational school. They presented innovative approaches to promoting talent and talent in the dual system. At the beginning of the ball, they showed a video that they had created in the so-called talent workshop and that highlighted the various facets of their training and how it was supported.
Interactive midnight performance delights the audience
The midnight performance was another highlight when the PKA students presented an entertaining buzzer game that included terms from everyday pharmacy life. The audience participation was great and created a happy atmosphere. In the talent workshop, students had the opportunity to explore their own interests and talents and to design an individual development process for their talents.
The students' enthusiasm for their training was clearly noticeable. One student said: "The versatility of my job has allowed me to discover many of my strengths. Our job is so complex that there are really many opportunities to discover and further develop my talent." She emphasizes the variety of skills that are required in the various areas of responsibility - from sales and consultations to creative window designs and logistical challenges in the pharmacy.
Another graduate reported that the teaching experiences at school helped her develop her talents. "While making magistral preparations, I discovered that I can work very well with essential oils and herbs. This aspect has awakened my interest in the extensive world of herbs and natural remedies and I am continuing my intensive training in this area."
The teacher Gerda Pichler-Promberger was proud of the students' progress: "The joy and enthusiasm of the students make the talent workshop an enrichment in every course. This motivates us to further expand our offer to promote talent and to implement new measures." The initiative to promote talent will continue to play a central role in training at BS3 Wels.
