Music enjoyment at the Kathrein concert: 70 musicians inspire visitors

The Kathrein concert by the TK Hilbern offered the audience an unforgettable experience last weekend with a mixture of rousing music and impressive performance. Under the direction of Dr. Franz Gumpenberger, an experienced moderator, were guided through a program that included pieces such as "My Name Is Bond" and a Potpourri from Rossini. The event lasted a total of 2.5 hours and attracted around 1000 visitors who were enthusiastic about the music pieces presented.

dr. Gumpenberger not only presented the music, but also gave interesting insights into the life stories of the composers as well as the history of the TK Hilbern and their Kapellmeister, Peter Rathgeb and Franz Wolfschwenger. Particularly noteworthy is the great cohesion within the chapel, which also became clear in the words of Gumpenberger. He praised the tireless voluntary commitment of around 70 musicians between the ages of 13 and 70, who were jointly committed to preparing and performing the concert.

appreciation of the services

At each concert, those present realize how much work is in preparation, starting with the selection of music up to the numerous samples. Dr. Gumpenberger put the challenges that every musician has in everyday life: "There are other obligations on the side". Despite these challenges, the chapel succeeds in setting new accents again and again and captivating visitors. This can also be seen in the two standing ovations that the ensemble received from the audience.

A special highlight was the star guest "Elvis", which performed as an encore and performed some known pieces. The new chairman of the TK Hilbern, Florian, not only demonstrated his talent at the musical instrument Tuba, but also showed himself as a great singer and Elvis interpreter. Dr. Gumpenberger, who chatted with Florian at breakfast on Sunday, reported on the general enthusiasm of the visitors and voted in thanks to the participants. "If you liked it, then you may," he said about the approval of the publication of his positive words.

The concert is not only remembered on the basis of the musical performances, but also because of the prevailing sense of community that experienced everyone present. Seeing the commitment and passion of the musicians in such a great event was an impressive experience that underlines the tradition and cultural value of the TK Hilbern. This enthusiasm not only distinguishes the work of the musicians, but also the charismatic style of Dr. Gumpenberger, who always contributes to the fact that these concerts become a success.
