Prices for plumbers in the Rohrbach district: Costs at a glance

In the Rohrbach district, a study was carried out by the Chamber of Labor into the costs of installation work, which provides information about the varying hourly rates and travel costs. This survey covered a total of 90 installation companies throughout Upper Austria, including seven from the Rohrbach region.

The data shows that the hourly rate for plumbers in the district is between 70.80 and 93.20 euros. The average price is around 83.80 euros. Very different amounts are due for travel costs, which vary between 20.10 and 56.80 euros. Interestingly, in one of the companies, travel costs are already included in the hourly rates. What is particularly noticeable is the increase in hourly rates, which increased by an average of ten percent compared to the previous year. However, nine companies did not increase their prices and remained stable.

Importance of an estimate

It is advisable for customers to obtain a binding cost estimate before placing an order. This is binding for the company unless it has been expressly agreed that the prices will be safe or that the billing will be based on the material actually required. In addition, the actual costs must not exceed the amount stated above. If the need for materials or working time is lower than originally calculated, the savings must be passed on to the customers.
