UVC McDonald S Ried secures third victory in series against St. Pölten
Ried. On November 16, the UVC McDonald’s Ried continued its impressive success run and thus booked another victory against the Sport Union Z+P St. Pölten. In Raiffeisen volleydome at home, the Rieder triumphed 3-0 in an exciting match that inspired the audience. The sentences ended with 25:19, 25:16 and 25:22, which continues to occupy Ried second place in the table, only one point behind the leading team Hypo Tirol.
At the beginning of the game, the St. Pölteners kept step with the hosts in the first set to the middle, but Ried was finally able to prevail. In the second set, the pressure on the guests was enormous: Felix Breit set a clear sign with his surcharges and ensured an early 5: 1 lead, which was no longer awarded until the end of the sentence. The third set was also clearly in favor of the Rieder, which not only celebrated the victory, but also Felix Breit's birthday.
The summary of the game
