Vocational and educational fair Perg: A success factor for the youth

Perg, November 17, 2024- The professional and educational fair organized by the Chamber of Commerce Perg was a complete success and attracted numerous visitors on November 15 and 16. Young people and their parents took the opportunity to find out about the diverse training opportunities in the region and to establish initial contacts with potential employers.

The fair was an important platform at which regional companies could present their training offers. In an area that covered all relevant professionals, traditional craft professions were presented alongside modern disciplines. Companies such as Dirneder Zaun- und Garten GmbH had the opportunity to introduce themselves personally and to inform about their training programs. An interested youth enthusiastically said: "I can get a great overview and even make appointments to sniff."

A central theme of the fair was the high need for skilled workers. The range of qualified training positions clearly shows that professions such as those of the landscape gardener offer great future prospects. Karl-Heinz Dirneder, managing director of the company of the same name, said: "During the three-year apprenticeship with the vocational school in Ritzlhof/Ansfelden, our apprentices receive a very extensive training and conclude with the job description of the landscape fermentation." Such well -founded training enable young people to gain a foothold in an increasingly complex world of work.

The fair was not only a source of information, but also contributed to facilitating the decision -making process of the young people. Through direct conversations with the exhibitors, they received valuable insights into the respective job profiles, which was a decisive help for many in choosing the correct training path.
