The category of adults is particularly exciting, where the dancers Lil M.O.D. and Lizzart from Nigeria and Vienna have a clear advantage of 60 points.

an exciting dance event

Paul Schmidtberger, host and organizer, describes the Battles as "real fights", comparable to the legendary dance conflicts in the Bronx of the 1970s. The dancers have to play their skills fully because they have to adapt to the music that is lived by the DJ or the DJane Live. "The dancers only experience the music on site and then have to react quickly and then improvise," explains Anita Rodrigues, President of the Street Dance Association Upper Austria. This musical challenge makes the evaluation of the judges all the more exciting.

While the dancers in Linz keep their last rehearsals, Rio de Janeiro's best B-boys and B girls in the world are preparing for the World Final by Red Bull BC One. The Linz audience is invited to follow the events in Brazil via live stream at public viewing. From 9:30 p.m. the world's best dancers will be seen with their most impressive moves.

Before that, at 1:30 p.m., dancing interested has the opportunity to take part in a breaking workshop with the current state champion Sinaya. After her triumphant victory last year at the state championship in Breaking and the Red Bull BC One Austria Final, she will share your knowledge and skills. The participation fee is only 5 euros - an excellent opportunity for prospective dancers to learn directly from a master.
