Santa Claus magic in Braunau: surprises for little patients!
Santa Claus made eyes shine in Braunau! On December 6th, Santa Claus visited both the St. Josef Hospital and the Heimathaus. Especially in the hospital, his visit seemed like a ray of hope for the little patients who longed for joy in difficult times. “Santa Claus stands for hope and confidence, which is particularly important for sick people,” explained Martina Lainer, head of hospital pastoral care. The pastors accompanied him through the wards, and the children's smiles were unforgettable for everyone involved meinkreis.at reported.
Santa Claus received a warm welcome at the home, where he welcomed visitors young and old with open arms. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests had free entry and, in addition to the Santa Claus surprise for the children, could also enjoy Christmas readings and an exhibition in the Herzogsburg District Museum. A festive lantern display entitled “There Was Light” was presented here while adults enjoyed hot drinks. Those interested could also admire the traditionally designed nativity scene, which perfectly rounded off the pre-Christmas atmosphere tips.at informed.
