On October 11, 2025, the popular folk music program “Mei liabste Weis” will be broadcast live from the Kulturstadel in Großschönau, Gmünd district. The governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner, welcomed the moderator Franz Posch to the program presentation in the Landhaus St. Pölten and emphasized the central role of folk music in the tradition and identity of the region.
The live broadcast will take place at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2 and over 600,000 viewers from Austria, Bavaria, South Tyrol and the rest of the German-speaking countries are expected.
