30 years of Lights of Vienna: anniversary celebration and new collection unveiled

The brilliant world of luxury lighting recently celebrated a special milestone: Lights of Vienna, the renowned manufacturer from Guntramsdorf, was 30 years old. On this occasion, the company invited to his company headquarters for the anniversary celebration with the motto "30 years of light and passion", and many guests accepted this invitation.

WK-Mödling district office manager Andrea Lautermüller warmly congratulated on the anniversary in her speech and presented a certificate to the owner and managing director Alexander Oborny, who looked back on the impressive history of the company during the event. Oborny also announced the start of a new, exciting chapter in the company's history.

of modest beginnings to great success

In the past three decades,

Lights of Vienna has developed from a small provider of water meters in Saudi Arabia into one of the leading manufacturers for tailor-made luxury electronics. A crucial turning point was the prestigious order for the delivery of lights for the mosque in Medina, which in 1994 laid the foundation for the "Lights of Vienna" brand. Since then the company has set accents in the international luxury building scene.

Another great success was followed: Lights of Vienna provided over 4,000 lights to the Holy Mosque in Mecca. At that time, this project was the largest illuminated order worldwide, and since then the company has been the exclusive supplier of lighting systems in Mecca. The portfolio has developed over the years and now also includes prestige buildings such as hotels, restaurants, residences and yachts.

Oborny explains that the strategy for the future is based on three main pillars: the equipment of mosques, the realization of exclusive luxury projects and the development of a new light collection. "With our own collection, we can react flexibly to the needs of our customers. Working with renowned designers plays a crucial role in this," he continued.

The central role of sustainability is of great importance for Lights of Vienna, both in production and in the design of the lights. Oborny emphasizes the importance of longevity and modularity to ensure its reusability and thus promote a more environmentally friendly approach.

the future and the anniversary collection

A special highlight of the evening was the idea of the exclusive anniversary collection, which was designed by the well -known designer Karin Binder. This collection is called "Storylights" and has already been awarded the Big See Product Design Award 2024. The versatile, modular wall and table lights are designed in such a way that they can be adapted to different moods by interchangeable glasses and light sources.

A festive evening with inspiring speeches, impressive music and exquisite lighting scenes led the guests through the decades and showed the company's passion for high -class lighting solutions. A detailed look at the background and future plans of Lights of Vienna offers www.wko.at .
