10 years of Korneuburg - Live in together: River: Your opinion counts!

The city of Korneuburg is celebrating an important anniversary this year: the tenth anniversary of the mission statement "Korneuburg - Live in the: River". Since its introduction in 2014, this mission statement has served as an important orientation for the future development of the city. In order to obtain the opinion of the residents on the previous progress and the effect of the mission statement, the municipality starts a comprehensive survey from October to early November 2024.

The survey offers the citizens the opportunity to express their view of the various aspects of urban development. In total, the questionnaire comprises about 24 questions that can be filled in within ten minutes. The anonymous collection of the data ensures that all feedback can be handed over without worry. In addition, participants automatically take part in a competition where attractive prices, including tickets for cultural events and the Florian-Berndl-Bad, are raffled off.

focus of the survey

The survey revolves around topics such as the quality of life in Korneuburg, the awareness of citizen participation and the attractiveness of the main square. The aim of the municipality is to determine the level of awareness of the mission statement and find out how well the population is included in the design of their city. The responses of the citizens are of great importance because they help the administration to gain a better understanding of which measures are well received and where there is a need for improvement.

Mayor Christian Gepp describes the survey as an important step in citizen participation, which has been shaped by Korneuburg for years: "Saying, thinking and shaping - the participation in the citizen has a tradition in Korneuburg. On the occasion of the ten -year anniversary of our mission statement, we want to set the course for the next few years."

City councilor Elisabeth Kerschbaum added: "We unite the desire to involve the citizens in our decisions. So we want to know whether we have succeeded and where we can improve." Klaus Michal emphasizes the importance of ideas and suggestions from the population for the future development of Korneuburg.

The survey takes place online on the municipality's website, alternatively the questionnaire can be picked up in the citizens' service. The process is simple and participation only requires a little time and commitment from citizens.
