An evening with Jens Söring: Double murderer or innocently convicted?

An exciting and at the same time shocking event is imminent: On March 6, 2025, the Congress Casino Baden will be the setting for the first True Crime Live event in Austria, where the convicted double killer Jens Söring focuses on. Söring, who was sitting in a US high-security prison for 33 years, asserts his innocence in the murder of his then friend Elizabeth Haysom. This gripping story, which has already fascinated the audience on Netflix, is now presented live. The event takes place in cooperation with the author and event organizer Gabriele Hasmann, as OE24.at

Jens Söring was found guilty by a court in the US state of Virginia over three decades ago, but there are numerous new evidence that question the credibility of the judgment. Although he was released on probation in 2019, the official recognition of his innocence was not possible. The True Crime evening promises both exciting and worrying insights: visitors can expect a stage discussion with the controversial protagonist about the Haysom murder case and personal experiences from his time in prison. Söring will answer questions about the psyche of a man who has been convicted of a crime that he still denies, as ccb.at in detail. In an open question and answer session, the participants have the opportunity to learn more about the circumstances of the case and Söring's perspective.

The fascination for criminal cases and the complex psyche of perpetrators and victims are the focus of this special evening. Gabriele Hasmann, known for her publications on mysticism and True Crime, brings her passion for these topics into the event. The evening promises scary, exciting and spectacular insights into one of the most controversial criminal cases of the past decades.
