Artistic diversity: A festival of music and magic in the region!
An exciting festival begins on October 30, 2025 that pushes the boundaries between classical music and modern sounds. The concert "Mendelssohn as I know him feat. Anna Mabo" brings together the timeless compositions of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy with the pop melodies of the Austrian artist Anna Mabo. This is just the start of a six-day series that features a creative kaleidoscope of music and performance orf.at reported. The following evening, October 31, visitors can expect a spectacular show by the “Freestyle Orchestra,” which combines circus arts with classical music and performs a unique version of “The Firebird,” in which violinists play from dizzying heights.
A celebration of diversity
There will be not only musical but also culinary highlights. On November 6th, guests can enjoy a multi-course regional menu in an old bakery, accompanied by an exchange of ideas with Christoph Zimper, the festival's director. The event aims to combine the sensory experiences of music and cuisine. On November 7th, the audience will be spiritually introduced to the Indian Bahakti tradition when “Kirtan – or the Magic of Stories” invites participation. Particularly noteworthy will be November 13th, when the story of “Peter and the Wolf” will be unforgettable through the visual works of art by sand artist Anna Vidyaykina.
The festival also wants to offer new talent from Austria a platform. Under the motto “Austria has got talent” they will have the opportunity to present their skills in the open spaces of the casemates on November 8th. Such creative formats are more than just entertainment - they embody the development of the concert industry from its historical roots to the present day, as an expression of artistic freedom and social exchange lernhelfer.de explained. This is where past and present, tradition and innovation meet in a festival that brings the soul of music to life.
