Festive anticipation: The St. Veit Christmas market is blooming on the main square

The Christmas magic in St. Veit has begun! The Christmas market started on the main square this afternoon at 3 p.m. with a tempting range of food, sparkling stalls and an attractive children's carousel. The smell of freshly baked cookies and the sound of lively music lift the spirits of the many visitors. Particularly noteworthy is the Dolinsek show forge, where you can see how craftsmanship is actually created. One of the highlights is the Christmas carriage ride, which brings joy to the little visitors' eyes.

Mayor Martin Kulmer opened the program at 5 p.m. The musical accompaniment was provided by the local band “The Tigers”, who reinforced the happy atmosphere with their melodies.

Interactive experiences for young and old

To make Advent particularly exciting, the city has launched a Facebook Advent calendar. From December 1st to 24th there are daily gifts in the form of prizes provided by various municipal companies. Participation is very easy: open a door on the Facebook page and maybe win a great prize!

But the Christmas market has much more to offer than just the classic stalls. An extensive supporting program, including things like children's readings, family yoga and lantern walks, ensures there is something for everyone. There will also be a charity event and the popular Christmas post office, where children can post their letters to the Christ child. This diversity makes the Christmas market a special experience for the whole family.
