The Advent season starts in a few days and anticipation for the festive season is growing in the Villach region. The time has come on December 1st, when the numerous Advent markets open their doors. The Villach Advent, which was ceremoniously opened on November 15th, marked the start. Among those who took part in this ceremony were the city's priest Richard Pirker, Mayor Günther Albel (SPÖ) and the singer Sandra Pires.
