Carinthian Brass Band Association honors new staff leaders: A festival of music!

At the last staff leader examination of the Carinthian Brass Music Association in the St. Veit/Glan district, four staff leaders and three female staff leaders were pleased that they had passed their exams. The examinees, including Victoria Rauter from MV Glantal-Liebenfels and Martin Kulterer from Glantaler Blasmusik Frauenstein, successfully passed a comprehensive theory and practical test. The Carinthian Brass Band Association warmly congratulates them and sees these newly trained staff leaders as valuable support for the brass bands in the region meinkreis.at reported.

Competition at Christmas time

The Carinthian Brass Music Association is also taking the opportunity to highlight an exciting competition to win an exclusive Christmas party for eight people in the EC-KAC Skybox. The event will take place on December 22, 2024 and promises both sporting and gastronomic highlights. This is just one of many festive highlights that are currently taking place in Carinthia and are intended to increase the anticipation of Christmas.

In addition, there were significant developments in the historical context that commemorate the end of the war in 1918. At that time, Slovenian national leaders demanded the Duchy of Carinthia, thereby endangering the unity of the region. The armed resistance of the Carinthian state government was a decisive response to these challenges. The Carinthian defensive battle, which resulted in many losses, ultimately led to the 1920 referendum, which ensured that Carinthia remained part of Austria and confirmed the unity of the region kab-or.at reported.
