artificial intelligence in administration

The introduction of Carinthia comes at a time when the digital transformation of the administration has accelerated. This was made possible by the new generation of artificial intelligence that has been in use since autumn 2022. The recently published practical guide on artificial intelligence in administration offers decisive support for public service employees. In addition to a detailed treatment of the opportunities and challenges of AI, ethical questions, technical foundations and legal framework conditions are also discussed. The guide contains practical tools such as a decision -making tree and a checklist for the ethical use of AI.

So that public administration can keep up with technological progress, it is important that institutions use the advantages of digitization effectively. The goal is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative work for citizens and at the same time protect their rights. Section III public service and administrative innovation supports the public sector in promoting digital transformation while protecting ethical standards.
