Anniversary celebration: Sparkasse Feldkirchen honors committed employees!
On May 20, 2025, outstanding achievements by committed employees will be honored at Sparkasse Feldkirchen. As part of a special honor, Manfred Brandstätter is celebrating his impressive 40th anniversary at the institute. As a father of two and grandfather of three, he describes his first job as his life's job. Brandstätter works in the areas of risk management and real estate valuation and uses his free time to exercise and spend time with his family. The honor was presented by board director Udo Bergner and board chairman Gerhard Greimer, which underlines the appreciation for Brandstätter's long service to the company.
In addition, Ing. Michael Baier (MA, BA) will be honored for his ten years of service. He is not only active in risk management, but is also chairman of the works council. In addition to his professional career, Baier is pursuing further academic training and running a small farm, which has earned him the nickname “Chicken Farmer” within the company.
Family-friendly corporate culture
The event also provides an opportunity to congratulate Andreas Wurzer, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday and also announced the birth of his second son Henry. Wurzer has been responsible for looking after customers in the Moosburg branch for nine years and spends his free time with his family and expanding his home. As part of his congratulations as chairman of the works council, Michael Baier conveys his best wishes for the offspring of the family.
The event not only shows the recognition of individual achievements, but also reflects the family and collegial atmosphere within the Sparkasse.
Risk management in focus
In the area of risk management, Sparkasse Feldkirchen has a future-oriented orientation. According to the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM), which was founded in 2009, many well-known credit institutions, financial service providers and consulting firms are actively involved in the further development of risk management standards. FIRM promotes research and teaching that is independent of economic interests and rejects any influence on science.
There is also a particular focus on compliance, where groups from the industry regularly meet to discuss current challenges and developments. This is an essential part of meeting the challenges of modern risk management and ensuring that best practice standards are continually developed.
As the need for risk mitigation increases, the management of benefits and pensions becomes increasingly relevant. According to Mercer, this is the second largest risk to employees after cybersecurity. An effective governance model for insurance and benefit programs is crucial to managing costs and risks. Recent surveys show that 59% of companies have not established effective governance in these areas, indicating great potential for improvement.
In summary, the day of honor at Sparkasse Feldkirchen shows how important not only individual achievements are, but also the strategic orientation in the area of risk management. It is evident that remarkable progress is needed in both employee appreciation and the implementation of effective governance strategies to ensure organizational resilience.
