Women's Health Day in Ossiach: Strengthen your well-being!

OSSIACH. On October 18th, the Healthy Community of Ossiach will host a special day of conversation and activity for women from the region. Women's Health Day aims to raise awareness about the health challenges women face. This is all the more important because women have a longer life expectancy, but often also have to live for more years with health restrictions.

This day offers a wide range of activities and information specifically tailored to the needs of women. The event, which takes place at the forestry training center in Ossiach, aims to encourage women and girls to develop healthy lifestyle habits and improve their health literacy.

Diverse offers

Participants can look forward to a variety of participation offers. These include pelvic floor training, brain fitness for the older generation, self-defense for girls and Pilates and yoga sessions. In addition, reaction and balance tests as well as special cycling and running training for women are part of the program. Everyone can do something for their health!

In addition, informative lectures are offered that cover current and relevant topics. These range from a discussion on the topic of sexuality to a deep insight into the lives of women in the here and now. Last but not least, it also covers where to turn in emergency situations and what a healthy diet should look like during menopause.

Women on Fire Women's Health Day will be held on Friday, October 18th from 1 to 6 p.m. Speakers include Katrin Allmayer, Katrin Feldermann, Stephanie Venier, Viktoria Krug and Gerald Puschitz, who will contribute to education and awareness with their lectures.

A special highlight is the outdoor program, which is organized by members of the Ossiach fire department and members of the 261 running club. This not only imparts knowledge, but also gives the opportunity to become active and make new contacts, which is just as important for social well-being.

This event is an excellent opportunity for women of all ages to focus on their health and discuss important topics together. Further information can be found in a comprehensive report on www.meinkreis.at.
