Benefit concert for youth: Top-class artists in Feldkirchen
On Friday, November 8th, an important charity concert will take place in the parish church “Maria im Dorn” in Feldkirchen. This event is organized by the Feldkirchen Ossiacher See Lions Club and starts at 7 p.m. The purpose of the concert is to support Mobile Youth Work Feldkirchen, better known as Mylife. All proceeds from the evening will go directly to the er organization, which supports the needs of young people who need individual help.
The concert will offer a musical highlight as the Lions Club was able to attract outstanding artists. Among the participants are the talented Rudi Gindlhumer and the artist Claudia Kefer-Gindlhumer. Two outstanding Carinthian musicians will also perform: Professor Klaus Kuchling and Edgar Unterkirchner. The latter is an internationally recognized composer and will even perform a newly created work that contains elements of a well-known Carinthian song. These unique performances promise to radiate a special splendor in the venerable ambience of the church.
Reception in the rectory
Following the concert there will be a reception in the rectory. Mayor Martin Treffner and the new pastor, Dieudonné Mavudila-Bunda, will be present here. Particular attention is paid to the artist Franz Kraushofer, who will present his caricature calendar for the coming year. The opportunity to get in touch with the musicians present and local dignitaries rounds off the event and offers guests a great opportunity to exchange ideas.
Tickets for the benefit concert are available for 18 euros. They can be purchased at the Salvator pharmacy, from Lions Club members and at the box office. The Feldkirchen Ossiacher See Lions Club hopes for active participation in order to expand its support for the young people in the region and to send a sign of solidarity. Encouraging voices, such as those from committed citizens, reinforce the importance of such events, which not only set cultural highlights but also promote social responsibility.
