Community strength: How to redesign collaborations!
Community strength: How to redesign collaborations!
A new chapter in village development was recently opened with the successful completion of the bridge construction project via the Thalheimbach. As part of the "pride of our village" funding campaign, the community, building yard employee and volunteers of the village renewal association worked hand in hand. challenges and opportunities for small communities
The developments in rural areas are not only shaped by success. More and more small communities are fighting with falling population and financial difficulties, while competition for companies and funding increases. This puts the search for new forms of cooperation in the foreground in order to counter such challenges. Such cooperation can bring in external experiences and bundle the forces, but they also pose risks, such as the possible loss of independence, such as the Wüstenrot-Foundation in detail.
Another central aspect for sustainable village development is the added value, which is important both financially and socially for the community. Tax revenues are increased, the attractiveness increased as a place to live and work and the independence of funding is strengthened. Social networks and the common sense also play a crucial role in promoting social capital in the village and thus consolidating the village community.
