Philipp Jelinek inspires with a new movement unit in schools!

Philipp Jelinek, known as the "pre -gymnast of the nation", reports live from the Sport Mittelschule Oberschützen in Burgenland today. Since the start of his popular movement unit "Fit with Philipp" three years ago, he has established himself as a central figure in everyday Austrian life. It all started on March 30, 2020, when ORF launched a new movement format during the Corona Lockdown to help people stay active in difficult times. Now the unit can be viewed daily at 9:05 a.m., as well as during the week at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Krone.tv and in the krone.tv-livestream, as the Krone reports.

The concept of "Fit with Philipp" is so successful that it was awarded the Romy Award for the best Lockdown format in 2021. In 2022 the show reached impressive number of spectators: a total of 1.872 million people switched on, which corresponds to a market share of 31 percent. On April 13, 2021, the show enjoyed its highest market share of 41 percent so far, which illustrates the immense popularity of Jelenik's programs, such as orf . Jelinek himself expressed his gratitude because he sees his work as an important contribution to public health. His goal is to significantly increase the healthy years of life of the Austrians.

Another important step is the introduction of "Philipp Macht School", which starts from April 12, 2023. Every Wednesday, Jelinek will present exercises for activation, mobilization and strengthening together with school children. In doing so, he pursues the goal of integrating movement even more into the everyday life of younger generations and thus lying a foundation for a healthy future.
