Loyal employees honored: Becom Electronics is optimistic about the future

In a festive ceremony, 26 employees of Becom Electronics GmbH in Hochstraß were honored for their many years of loyalty to the company. The Burgenland Chamber of Labor, represented by President Gerhard Michalitsch, honored the employees for their achievements and commitment at a special event that focused on the value of loyal workers. “Loyalty to a company over so many years cannot be taken for granted, and the employees deserve thanks and recognition for this,” explained Michalitsch.

Becom Electronics GmbH, a respected employer in the Burgenland region, has employed around 300 people since 2014 and has established itself as one of the most innovative companies in the area. Michalitsch emphasized that the success of a company depends heavily on committed and reliable employees and an active works council. “It not only takes strong management, but also a motivated team,” he added.

Awards for years of service

The awards took place as part of a ceremonial ceremony in which various anniversaries were recognized: ten employees received an award for 20 years of service, five for 25 years, four for 30 years and seven for 35 years. These numbers reflect the commitment and stability of the workforce, which is crucial to the company's success.

The event also highlighted the importance of valuing the workforce and recognizing their achievements. The positive atmosphere conveyed an optimistic view of the future, both for the employees and for the company.

Looking into the economic future

In his speech, Michalitsch also discussed the country's economic situation. Given positive forecasts for economic recovery after a long recession, he encouraged the government to invest in economic development. "In order to support companies like Becom, targeted investments are necessary instead of just relying on austerity measures. This is the only way we can secure employment and grow," he emphasized.

The event was not only a sign of recognition, but also an important impulse to take the next steps in a changing economic world. Becom Electronics GmbH remains an example of the successful interaction of innovation, well-trained specialists and strong employee representation.
