Japan has taken a historic step: it was the first country in the world to officially approve CBD as a food. This groundbreaking decision opens up enormous opportunities for companies in the CBD industry, such as the Swiss provider AstraSana, which has now entered into a strategic alliance with the renowned Japanese company GSI Creos. This collaboration, like OTS reports, aims to strengthen the wholesale distribution of CBD raw materials in Japan and establish a reliable supply chain.
AstraSana Japan Ltd., a subsidiary of AstraSana Holding AG, guarantees that only high-quality CBD raw materials produced in Switzerland are used. GSI Creos has acquired a 20 percent stake in AstraSana Japan to further intensify the strategic partnership. This development is particularly important because natural food in Japan requires high safety standards. Managing Director Yves Antoniazzi of AstraSana emphasizes that the “Swiss Made” label in Japan stands for the highest quality and this is also the reason for the collaboration with GSI Creos.
