Opera ball 2025: Strauss celebrates with social responsibility!

The opera ball 2025 promises to become a spectacular event that is all about Johann Strauss. On February 27th, the highlight of the Vienna ball season, the 67th edition of the opera ball is celebrated by the 200th birthday of the Waltz King. During the opening, works by Strauss are presented almost exclusively, including the "Csárdás" from "Ritter Pásman" and the well -known waltz "Spring Votes". Opera director Bogdan Roščić emphasizes that the music selection fits the opera ball perfectly. In a special contribution, the Vienna State Ballet under the direction of Martin Schläpfer will list the new creation of the "Kaiserwalzer".

This year the opera ball will again set a strong sign of social responsibility. Due to the surcharge of 35 euros per entry ticket and an additional ten percent on the gastronomy sales, significant amounts for the organization "Austria helps Austria".
