Attention school children: Prevention program Safely through the Mühlenkreis” starts!

Children and road safety - an indelible topic that is of utmost importance, especially for the little ones! From November 18th to 27th, 2024, the Mühlenkreis will be transformed into an adventurous accident prevention stage for future school children! For the 21st time, the Minden-Lübbecke district police authority is inviting kindergarten children from the Mühlenkreis and neighboring regions to teach them correct behavior in traffic with an exciting stage program.

Around 3,000 little adventurers from 160 facilities have the chance to expand their safety knowledge in a playful way. These important performances come to the cities and communities, embedded in the support of the Kreisverkehrswacht, Minden-Lübbecke district and Volksbanks. A true masterpiece of traffic education that not only imparts knowledge, but also focuses on fun!

An eventful learning process

Police teach young viewers not only how to wear light-colored clothing, but also how to cross a street safely. The highlight of this educational program is the popular children's song singer Rainer Niersmann. His musical talent will enrich the program with catchy melodies. The children are also given little surprises! Not only is road safety taught, but it is also discussed sustainably among families.

Alongside Rainer Niersmann, Police Chief Inspector Kim Schmidt plays the leading role and will conquer the stage together with Police Chief Inspector Michael Harting, who appears as the entertaining caretaker Klawuttke.
