Drama in Ratingen-Tiefenbroich! On the evening of October 31, 2024, an unknown person tried to steal the cell phone of a 27-year-old woman from Düsseldorf. But the brave witness intervened and thwarted the criminal's plans!

At around 8:20 p.m., the young woman was standing at the bus stop at a fitness studio when the robber, a perpetrator sitting on a bike, suddenly struck and snatched her phone. But the tide turned! An attentive passerby jumped straight into his path. During the collision, the perpetrator fell and dropped the cell phone before disappearing straight into the night. The daredevil then fled on foot in the direction of Bertramsweg, while the alerted police searched for him with a large contingent, and a police dog was even used!

Despite the search that was launched immediately, the fugitive lawbreaker could not be caught. The man is described as being around 175 to 185 cm tall with an athletic build and was wearing dark clothing. The police also secured the perpetrator's Pedelec, which he had apparently left behind. The investigation is now in full swing and law enforcement is asking the public for help.
