The dark side of Limburg: thefts, arson and hit-and-runs!

Limburg (ots)

In a wave of crime, the police in Bad Camberg are raising the alarm! Unknown people broke into a garage on Kastanienweg through the side door between November 1st and 6th, 2024 until 2:30 p.m. and stole several vehicles. The crooks targeted a high-quality Pedelec, the “Turbolevo FSR Com-Carbon”, which is worth around 4,000 euros, as well as a striking blue and white Suzuki GSXR, which costs an incredible 7,000 euros! The search for clues is ongoing and the Limburg criminal police are asking the public for any relevant information on (06431) 9140-0.

The crime never ends! On Wednesday, November 6th at 3:20 p.m., a burning suitcase was reported to the fire department in Waldhausen. The trolley, dumped clumsily on Lindenstrasse, caught fire - perhaps arson? The criminal police have started the investigation and are now looking for witnesses who might have seen something.

Dramatic clashes on the streets

Later on the same day, at 10:10 p.m., there was a physical fight between a 51-year-old car driver and an 18-year-old pedestrian on Friedenbachstrasse in Weilburg-Kubach. Tempers boiled over: after a heated argument, the altercation ended with the 18-year-old's hand injured. This is not the only incident that rocks the city!

On the night of November 5th to 6th, a food truck on Werner-Senger-Straße in Limburg was broken into! Unknown people pried open the door and stole the cash register along with cash and cans of drinks - the damage is devastating with a loss of over 5,000 euros!
