Armed robbery in Dinslaken: student's e-scooter stolen!

On Monday afternoon there was a dangerous incident in Dinslaken that put the local security situation to the test. At around 1:30 p.m., near the allotment garden behind the Dinamare at the city pool, a 16-year-old teenager was the victim of a robbery. After school, the boy was riding his e-scooter along a small, secluded path when suddenly two masked people jumped out of the bushes. One of them was armed with a knife, which posed a threatening situation for the teenager.

In response to the threat, the teenager abandoned his e-scooter and ran for his life. When he returned some time later, he found that his e-scooter had disappeared. The boy then went to the East police station in Dinslaken with his mother to file a report.

Details about the perpetrators

The perpetrators were described as follows:

  • Erster Täter: männlich, circa 170 cm groß, normale Statur, trug einen Gucci-Pullover und eine schwarze Jogginghose, maskiert mit einer schwarzen Skimaske, und war mit einem Messer bewaffnet.
  • Zweiter Täter: ebenfalls männlich, circa 170 cm groß, normale Statur, und trug eine weiße Wolljacke sowie Jogginghose, ebenfalls maskiert mit einer Skimaske.

What is particularly noticeable is that the young person's e-scooter, a Segway model, had a stuck-on insurance license plate with the number “119 CCG”. Fortunately, the teenager was uninjured, which has a positive impact on the situation, but raises the question of how safe such remote paths actually are.

Unfortunately, the police search measures that were immediately initiated were negative. The investigating criminal police have now called on the public to provide relevant information and can be reached on 02064-622-0. It remains to be seen whether information from the public can help solve the case.

This incident sheds light on increasing security concerns in urban areas and the challenges faced by police in preventing such crimes. The local community is required to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately. For more information about this incident, see the current reporting on www.presseportal.de.
