At the same time, the Ried region is strengthened by innovative training opportunities in agricultural and environmental technology, as Raiffeisenzeitung.at reports. The HTL Ried has established itself as a leading institution for prospective technicians over the past 20 years, in particular with its focus on agricultural technology, which was added seven years ago. Every year, around 100 students start their career in engineering at this school, which is now one of the largest agricultural schools in Austria. Here the students enjoy a practical training that offers them direct access to the latest agricultural machines.
Through cooperations with over 50 manufacturing agricultural technology companies in Upper Austria, the students have the opportunity to work on real machines and gain valuable experience. The Raiffeisenbank Region Ried supports the HTL funding project in order to further improve the training of the students. Board member Joachim Knoglinger emphasizes the importance of sustainable agriculture and modern developments and emphasizes that the graduates of the HTL Ried have excellent job opportunities in agricultural technology. Already 90 percent of the students start their professional life directly, which underlines the increasing demand and the importance of this training.
