Klagenfurt obliges Keanan Bennetts: Comeback of a talent!
The Austrian Football Association Austria Klagenfurt has signed a spectacular new addition to the 2024/25 season and is increasing with Keanan Bennetts. The 25-year-old offensive player, who was last under contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden, switches to the Carinthians free of charge and will start Training the purple on Tuesday, like laola1.at . Bennetts, who has had a moving career and also played for the English U-National team, is seen as a big prize for the team.
The left foot, which was in the youth area for Tottenham Hotspur, switched to Borussia Mönchengladbach for 2.25 million euros in 2018. However, his career was overshadowed by several injuries, which meant that he has been less in the spotlight in recent years. Now the managing director of Sport, Günther Gorenzel, hopes to bring him back on the road to success. "We will do everything we can to get the boys back on track and are convinced that he will be very valuable for our team with his skills," Gorenzel continues, as well as SkaUstriaklagenfurt.at reported.
Bennett’s versatility and motivation
Bennetts can be used both offensive and defensively on the left outer lane and brings an impressive speed and a feel for the right pass. After a difficult phase in his career, Bennetts is now determined and full of motivation: "I am totally happy that Austria has reached an agreement and I am grateful to those responsible that they believe in me after a difficult phase and give me trust," he says. With the focus of reaching the team destinations, he now starts the winter preparation under coach Peter Pacult.
