Over 240 different bird species can be observed on the four fish ponds that are under the protection of the international Ramsar Agreement. After the Neusiedler See, the fish ponds are the second largest rest area for migratory birds in Burgenland and have now received a new bird station near the shore, which offers a perfect view of the water surface and the adjacent reed zone.
