A shocking incident is causing a stir in the Spittal an der Drau district: unknown perpetrators have left what is an unimaginable sight for many along Millstätter Straße (B98) - more than 50 to 70 garbage bags filled with food, which were thrown over the guard rail into a steeply sloping forest area to the "Bruggersiedlung". The road shame extends for about 200 meters and poses not only pollution but also a threat to wildlife, according to local authorities.
