NEO NUGGETS: Secret adventure with pizzera and snacks in Toplitzsee!

The anticipation among fans is huge: on February 11, 2025, filming began for the eagerly awaited sequel “NEO NUGGETS,” which continues the story of the box office hit “Pulled Pork.” Directed by Andreas Schmied, the popular characters Paul Pizzera as Flo and Otto Jaus as Eddi return to the big screen. Together with her sister Samira, who was believed to have disappeared, played by Gizem Emre, they embark on a nerve-wracking search for the legendary “Treasure of Toplitzsee” - and have to face a dangerous neo-Marxist conspiracy like this OTS press office reported.

The plot immediately hits the tension button: Pizzera and Jaus get caught up in a network of secret services and unscrupulous machinations while they try to solve the mystery surrounding the treasure. Her adventure draws her into a whirlpool of lies and chases that are not only action-packed but also humorous. Pizzera himself says that they once again come across a neo-Nazi group that is looking for suspected Nazi gold in Lake Toplitz. “Otti and I get into this again in a roundabout way,” reveals Pizzera oe24.

“NEO NUGGETS” promises a captivating combination of thrilling action and sharp dialogue. In addition to the tried and tested duo Florian Kienzl and Eddie Notsch, there are many new faces in the cast who bring a breath of fresh air to the film. Even though Pizzera and Jaus are the only characters from the first part, the sequel has many surprises in store. Director Andreas Schmied went to impressive locations in Vienna, Styria and Lower Austria to create the exciting backdrop for the action-packed hunt. Viewers can probably look forward to the return of the two comedians to the cinema in October 2025!
